Players' auction will be held in Bangalore from today for the 11th season of the Indian Premier League. Starting from 09.30 am this auction will include 578 players. The franchisee owners of 8 teams will make bids for 182 players in this auction that lasted till Sunday. List of players to be auctioned, there are big names like Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Shikhar Dhawan from India, and the West Indies opener Chris Gayle will also keep an eye on everyone.
For the auction, the base price of 2 crores has been kept, this slab contains 36 players. Apart from this, the base prices of 1.5 crore, 10 million, 75 lakh and 50 lakhs have been kept.
- Uncapped players have kept base price of 40 lakhs, 30 lakhs and Rs.20 lakhs. The base price of 36 out of 578 players in the final list is 2 million. The base price of 33 is Rs 1.5 crore.
