Dr. Margaret Maitland is Curator of the Museum of Scotland, located in Edinburgh (England). They were exploring the Permanent Egyptian collection of the museum, only when they saw a packet. There was a parcel of the time of World War II, which was sent by the museum pre-curator. Margaret never found any attraction in that packet.

Yet they saw it open and saw it Then they came to know that they opened a very old chapter of history. That packet was more than 2,000 years old. This is the case ...

-Dr. When Margaret opened the packet, there was a wrapped cloth in it and there was also a note. It was written that the cloth was found from an ancient Egyptian grave.

Seeing that cloth, Margaret and his team realized that in their hands there is a great thing in history, which has probably never been seen before today.

Because this was a fabric that was more than 2000 years old, it was likely that it would burst in opening lines. So, Margaret and his team first gave him some moisture. After this, it was gradually opened.

-The opening process took 24 hours. When he was completely open, all the people were surprised to see him. She was an Egyptian shroud. In time, he was in a very good condition.

In this shroud made of linen, beautiful artwork was done. It was engraved on the nature of the Goddess Osiris after the death of Prachi, Egypt.

After this, Margaret and his team read the letters written on it. He came to know that in this shroud, a man named Aymca was wrapped up dead body. He was the son of two ancient Egyptian princes. His names were Montsuf and Tanuat.

The most interesting thing was that Monsuts and Tanuat's gold masks were already in the collection of the museum. In this way it is a rare case that a museum had things related to the whole family of 2000 years ago.

With the help of this shroud it was easy to know that it was made 9 years before Christ. The tomb of this family was discovered in 1857. Tanuat's death had happened just 48 days after the death of her husband, Monsutsuf.
