              People associated with the film industry get easy access to films, but they have to make identities on their own. One such actor is the superstar Surya of South films. Surya is celebrating her 42nd birthday today (July 23, 1975).



The Surya, Tamil actor Sivakumar's son and the child if they are connected to the film industry. But to make an identity in the industry, he had to work hard. In the initial period of his career he was not interested in films, so he started working in the fabric factory too. Here he had kept his identity hidden that he was the son of actor Shivkumar. In the factory, he got a thousand rupees for work




Surya worked in the textile factory for 8 months before starting her film career. When he was 20, he got an offer to play lead role in the film 'Asahi' in 1995.

 But due to lack of interest in the films, he rejected it. But two years later, at the age of 22, he debuted from director Vasant's film 'Nerrukku Ner' (1997). Mani Ratnam was the producer of this film.
