Ishwar Kaka (Srivallabh Vyas) of Lagaan film passed away on Sunday in Jaipur. Srivallabh Vyas was a resident of Jaisalmer and he had achieved his unique position in the film industry. In Jaisalmer, his ancestral house is in Sonar Durg and his childhood was spent in the streets of the fort.
After a prolonged illness, he breathed his last on Sunday in Jaipur. On Sunday evening, his family left for Jaisalmer from Jaipur.
- An accident took place in October 2008 during the shooting of Bhojpuri film in Gujarat. After that, he was constantly sick due to paralysis attack. From there, his film career ended. Before that he was taken to Hyderabad and later to Jaisalmer. For the last several years, he was in Jaipur.
He is survived by his wife Shobha Vyas and two daughters Shivani-Ragini. His mother lives in Hyderabad with his younger brother.
