High-rise buildings, shining roads, shopping malls and shops ... all these are the identities of a city. But, these photos of many cities in the world are fake. Actually, no one lives here and these cities were made for the army only, who can be deceived by seeing them. Yes, Austrian photographer Gregory Seler has photographed some of the same cities. Gregor traveled seven countries in the last two years and discovered these cities
Seller points out that he often used to click pictures of beautiful cities and best architecture. In the meantime, he got an idea of clicking the photos of those cities which were made for the army.
- Sailor got this idea from Russia's 'Potamkin' village, which was built during the Soviet Union. This was a fake village, which was made to deceive the enemies.
After this, Selar has explored the cities of Russia, France, Germany, China, Sweden, Britain and America and clicked their photos.
- Saleer has published the series of photos in his new book, The Potamkin Village, in which he has written about these cities in detail.
