Popular producer of Tamil films, B. Ashok Kumar, on Tuesday, sued his house at Alwarathirunagar, Chennai. Actor Shashi Kumar's relative Ashok wrote in the suicide note that the film financier has forced him to take the extreme step. At the same time Valasarakkamak police told in his statement that Ashok had committed suicide by hanging himself in his own Multistory apartment.
According to the police, Madurai was reaping strong interest from Ashok Kumar, based production company, instead of loan.
- He wrote in Suicide note - my biggest mistake is that I chose this company as a financier. For the film, I had taken a loan for 7 years, but for the last 6 months, I have been continuously making threats from the company.
- The police have registered a case against the financier for inciting suicide under Section 306 of the IPC. Right now, his body has been sent to the Royipi Hospital for postmortem.
