The cause of optical illusion or the deception of eyes is the structure of eyes. Inside our eyes, Retina works like a camera sensor. There are two types of cells present in this. A cone cell and second rod cell. Connections collect information about color, while the rod cell reads contrasts with dark matter. Together, the two give information about the optic nerve.

However, due to the excess of rod cells at the edges of retina and the overwhelming majority of cone cells at the center of retina, we can not focus on such graphics because of which we have optical illusion.
