               Before and after 15 August 1947, Nawab Hamidullah of Bhopal did not want to merge his principality with India. They refused to sign on the agreement of integration. Being very close to the founder of Pakistan Jinnah, he was getting help in making pressure on the Indian government.



 When the date of the independence of both the countries was declared, on August 14, the flag of Pakistan was hoisted in Bhopal.

Historians say that in Bhopal, the freedom struggle started in 1936. The day the Nawab's army came, it crushed the movement.



Many people were martyred The Nawab was so close to the British that he used to put people involved in the movement on a simple matter. Until two years of independence, there were atrocities on the freedom fighters. Even after the country's independence, the people here could not flag their country's flag.



- On the day of Independence, on the day of Independence, people drove the Nawab army and hoisted the tricolor near the Jumatari Post Office here. Earlier, the Nawab supporters hoisted the flag of Pakistan on 14 August 1947 in Bhopal in many places. There was tension in the entire state after this incident. And this happened so many times.
