यह जंगल नहीं एक पेड़ है!

The world's widest tree is spread over 144400 square meters. This tree, situated in the Acharya Jagdish Chand Bose Botanical Garden near Kolkata, has been so vast in more than 250 years.

This tree looks like a forest from a distance. In fact, in the search of water collected by the branches of banyan tree, further increases the ground. They later started to water and support the tree in the form of root. This series goes on. 

At present, more than 2,800 of this banyan has taken the form of root. Two cyclonic storms that came here in the 19th century had overthrown the original root, which later worsened due to the fungus. In 1925, the root was cut off and separated, but by then many other sticks had taken the form of root. Because of this, this tree is growing even today.
