After the superb performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sachin Tendulkar wrote a tweet for him. Sachin wrote in his tweet that,

In the final match CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and invited the Hyderabad captain Ken Williamson to bat. Batting in the first innings, Hyderabad scored 178 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs on the good innings of captain Kane and Yusuf Pathan.
Chennai were to score 179 runs to win and CSK won the toss and elected to bat on the basis of an unbeaten century by Shane Watson in the 18.3 overs. Chennai scored 181 for 2 in 18.3 overs. Shane Waugh Tasan was selected as Man of the Match.
