This place is located in Anjan village in Gopal district of Jharkhand. A cave here is considered to be the birth place of Lord Hanuman. It is said that in the Kaliyug the cave was closed automatically, behind which Lord Hanuman's mother Anjani is considered to be angered.

According to local beliefs, Hanumanji was born in a hill cave situated at Anjanadham in Gumla district. In which cave was born Lord Hanuman, his door closed itself in Kali Yuga. Lord Hanuman's mother Anjani himself stopped the door of the cave because he was angry with the sacrifices made by local people. Even today, this cave is present in the Anjan Dham.
