According to media reports, in the village of Bomza, one more army of Tawang Garrison wants to set up the unit, for which the Defense Ministry paid compensation to the villagers more than one crore rupees per family instead of land.
- In lieu of 200.056 acres of land, 31 families of the village were given a check of Rs 40.8 crore on behalf of the Ministry of Defense. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu gave this amount to the families.
