Aarti is an important place in the worship of gods and goddesses. Pujaan karma is completed only after the aarti. Looking at the significance of the Aarti, some things should be kept in mind while preparing the lamp.
The lamp of ghee should be lit on the left side of the palm and the oil lamp on the right hand.
In Poojan Karma, keep in mind that the lamp should not be extinguished in the middle of the worship. If this happens then the full fruit of the pooja can not be obtained.
The lamp should always be placed in front of the statue of God. Sometimes the statue of God is not put in front of the statue, but it is not right.
White cotton should be used for ghee lamp. While the red thread has been bestowed for oil lamp.
Never break the broken lamp in worship. Fragmented material is not considered auspicious in religious activities.
