Rahul Dravid, famous as Team India's former cricketer and 'The Wall', is celebrating his 46th birthday today. He was born on January 11, 1973 in a Marathi family in Indore. Rahul played 164 Tests and 344 ODIs from India. He is currently the coach of India's Under-19 cricket team.

Shortly after Rahul's birth, his family shifted from Indore to the capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru.

- The father of this star cricketer used to work in a jam manufacturing factory for Sharad children, due to which Rahul's name became Jami in his childhood.

At the same time, his mother Pushpa Dravid was architecturally proficient in Bangalore's Visvesvaraya College of Engineering. Dravid also has a younger brother named Vijay.

Rahul's schooling came from St. Joseph's Boys High School in Bangalore. After this he got a degree from St. Joseph's College of Commerce.

For the first time when he was selected for Team India, he was doing MBA in Business Administration from St. Joseph's College.

- Rahul has knowledge of four languages. They speak English, Marathi, Kannada and Hindi.
