The year 2017 is going to end. Stories of Real Achievers of this year have come in a series. In this episode we are going to tell you about Nisha Kunju, a resident of Mumbai. Nisha has been working to save the lives of animals in Mumbai for the past several years. They have so far saved more than 20 thousand animals and bird life in trouble. He has got many National Awards for this work.

Since childhood, his attachment has been with animals. Nisha's schooling in Mumbai also came from Mumbai.

- One day during school days he was returning home with his brother. On the way they saw that some crows are attacking an injured parrot. He ran the crows with the help of brother and brought the parrot home with him.

At home he treated parrots for many days but could not save his life. This incident shook them from the inside and Nisha decided that they would be able to help animals who are helpless or trapped in trouble.

- After coming to college, Nisha joined the institution of Montilla Gandhi as a student volunteer and in 2005 started her own NGO, Plant and Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).

- Initially, Nisha and some of her friends were associated with this institution, and today 150 people together with Nisha in the whole of the world save the lives of animals.
