In the former cricketer and present, Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is the Congressional star campaigner for the Gujarat Election 2017. However, he has not been seen in any rally or meeting till now, but his name is included in the list released by Congress. Navjot had recently refused to do the camping despite being the star campaigner in the Himachal Pradesh Elections.
Navjot Singh Sidhu lives with his wife Navjot Kaur and both children in Amritsar.
- He said during an interview, "My daughter, Rabia Sidhu is very mischievous, calling her as my wife Drama Queen, I have given strict directions to the house that no one will go out after 9.00 in the night. 10.30 am jumped from the window of my own room and went out to the party and returned at 1 a.m.
According to Sidhu, no matter what happens, they do not scold their daughter. Because once she was scolding Rabia for missing tennis classes in her childhood, she was crying for 10 days.
