Some youths throw acid on girls who went for defecation in Rampur village of Panchkula district in open defecation. One girl's feet were scorched, while the other girl's salwar was burnt. - The women told that they were coming home from under the bridge by about 6.30 pm on Thursday evening, suddenly someone threw fluid from a box on their legs. This caused irritation in the legs and Rakhi started shouting.
- Emotion and Rakhi told that at first they thought that the hot water was thrown. The families informed the police.
- The police recovered a bottle of empty plastic from a plastic top and dropped acid there.
