The case is of 5th September, when it was being taken to Mullakkal from Alappuzha's place. This elephant is from Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple. Therefore, the elephant was put in the lorry and was being sent there.

At that time, elephants suddenly jumped from the car and started running away. People ran to catch him, but no one could control him. Mahavat tried to bind him with chain, but did not succeed. But suddenly running away at 5 o'clock in the morning, the elephant fell into a small drain. Elephants got stuck in the mud of mud and could not get out. 

People came there listening to the sound of its screaming. In addition to the rescue team, people nearby were also engaged in taking out the elephant. Nearly 15 hours of rescue operation included about 50 people. Eventually, elephants could be pulled out at 8 o'clock at night.
