Mohammad Shami recently celebrated his 28th birthday (September 3). Shami, a small village close to Amroha in UP, wanted to become a cricketer from childhood. His father was also a fast bowler of his age, after which he sent Shami to Kolkata to learn cricket to complete his son's dream

Shami's father Tausif Ali used to be a fast bowler during his time. However, due to lack of opportunities, his dream could not be completed and he opened the tractor spare parts shop.

Shami was fond of cricket since childhood. Where he got place in the village, he started bowling. At the courtyard of the house, on the terrace, on the empty floor, there was a pitch for him 22 yards long.

Shami has been fast bowling fast since the beginning, his raptan had made him a fame in the surrounding villages at an early age. They were the attraction of local cricket tournaments.

- Tausif Ali found his talented son, Shami, among his three sons, so he took him to Badruddin Siddiqui who lives in Moradabad, who gave coaching to cricket.

Shami had a lot of advantage in Badruddin's coaching, but there was not much chances of going ahead in the UP city's small town. About a year later, his father sent him to Kolkata for good preparation.
