But nearly 15 years ago, the entire house of a whole was packed and sent to the United States and opened there and re-opened. This home, Yin Yu Tang, is currently set up in a museum in Massachusetts America. This is the story ...

-Yean Yu Tang is semantically filled, abundant umbrella. This traditional house built in the late 18th century has 16 rooms.

During the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it was built in Anhui village in Huizhou, southwest of China, built by a wealthy merchant of Huang Sarname.

-Having remained the residence of Huang Family for nearly two centuries. Then in 1982, after the last family member left the village, it was closed.

Nancy Berliner, an American scholar named China, had come to China for research on Chinese architecture and furniture. In 1996, he saw Yin Yu Tang House. Then Huang Family was in the foreclosure to sell it.

-Nance used to work for Boston's Peabody Essex Museum (PEM). On his recommendation the museum bought the house.

After that, a long and difficult process to start it began. Before distributing the house to parts, architecture drawing was created in detail, measurable and photographed.

After that, from the roof tile to the foundation stones, everything was well packed and sent to the US. The distance between Huizhou and Massachusetts is about 12 thousand kilometers.

After this, it was opened in a warehouse in Boston and the house was re-erected on the basis of pictures and drawings taken on the ground of Peabody Essex Museum.
