              India won the second match of the one-day series against Sri Lanka by 3 wickets. In the match at Pallakel on Thursday, Team India won the target of 231 runs (D / L method) in 47 overs, in reply, they lost 7 wickets in 44.2 overs to achieve the required target. Sri Lankan bowler Akila Dhananjay, who performed tremendously from Sri Lanka in the match, was chosen Player of the Match.

Going to pursue target, Team India started well and 109 runs for the first wicket. But after that the wicket started to fall.



- At one point, the team's score was 109 for no loss, but after reaching 131 runs, 7 wickets fell within 22 runs.

Though the 100-run partnership for India from the eighth wicket was snatched away by Sri Lanka's win and the match came to India's favor.



Akila Dhananjay took a career best performance in the match and took 5 for 54 in 10 overs.
