For dealing with accidents and the MockDrill, the railway is transforming a village in Karnataka into a 'Disaster Management Institute and Security' village. The scenes of falling in the rivers of trains and fires in the bogies are common. Its work has started in Hejjala village, 25 km from Bangalore. It is expected to be completed by December next year.

- According to an official of the Railway Ministry, the dramatic transformation of railway accidents will be done using the useless luggage of the Railways. To improve such efforts by running a rescue operation.

- It will be like a mock drill by security personnel. But due to special circumstances, it will be more realistic.

- Railways has selected Hemjala village with population of 3,483 for this scheme.

There will also be a Virtual Reality Center for analyzing rail accidents. The purpose of this center is to provide training to the employees to deal with the different types of environments and disasters in the area. Construction work in this village is going on fast.
