In the north-eastern Indian state of Assam, there is amphibious rituals in the village of Dibrugarh, where the frog is married.

It is believed that due to this, the drought area also rains.



During the ritual, the people of the village conduct a wedding ceremony between two fronds and rain for the good harvest is done with Indradeva.



- Two fleets are prepared for the marriage of frogs, which are decorated with traditional colors.



- This bizarre wedding ceremony lasted approximately five to six hours.



- There is also a feast of traditional food at the wedding.



When this whole ceremony is completed, the male and female frogs are left in the nearby pond.

- In this way we wait for rain in Dibrugarh.
