The case belongs to the Candolim village near Panaji. The woman's name is Sunita Verlaykar.

According to Suneeta's brother Mohandas Veerlekar, she had married in Mumbai, but as soon as she came to know that her husband was already married, she returned home.




After this incident, the behavior of the woman was abnormal, after which she was kept locked in the room. It was given food and water through window.

After Sunita has been rescued, she has been sent to the hospital for treatment.



A NGO of Goa, 'Bellonso' has recovered this woman from her own house. The NGO was informed about the closure of this woman's room.



- NGO gave information to local police After this, a team of police station raided at home. When the police entered the room as soon as the red entered, the woman was found naked.



- He was not getting ready to get out of the room. According to the police, the woman was kept locked in that room for almost 20 years.
