             A Kabul-born cricketer had played from India long before playing in Afghanistan's Test matches. Name was Salim Durrani. Salim was the All-rounder player, he was born in Kabul in 1934.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given Ireland and Afghanistan the status of Test teams.



 These two teams have now become full members of the ICC and now they will be 11th and 12th Test teams respectively.




Salim Durrani was born in the Pathan family of Kabul and his childhood passed through Jamnagar. He was the first Indian cricketer who played a major role in the films. She appeared with Parveen Bobby in the Bollywood film 'Character'. Although the film was beaten, Durrani had played Ranji Trophy for a long time with the Rajasthan team. 

From 1960 to 1973, Durrani played cricket for Team India. He scored 1,202 runs and took 75 wickets in 29 Tests at an average of 25.04. In addition, he took 484 wickets in 170 first class matches and scored 8,545 runs at an average of 33.37. He has 14 centuries in first class cricket. His specialty was that he used to kill a cocaine on the audience's demand.
