However, Kohli decided fielding, after which the team's environment got worse before the start of the match. In fact, Pakistan had come under pressure from big scores in the league match and lost the match. This decision was taken in view of this. 

After the resignation of the chief coach, BCCI CEO Rahul Johri has sought detailed report on the controversy by Anil Kumble-Virat Kohli from the Indian Administrative Service manager Kapil Malhotra. Governance Committee (COA) chief Vinod Rai will discuss the resignation of Kumble with the BCCI top officials in Mumbai on June 24.
