                Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi asked the national team to be more consistent in the future, inspired by winning his Champions Trophy title. Pakistan defeated India in the final in London on Sunday to win the Champions Trophy for the first time.

 Afridi said during a program that winning the Champions Trophy is a great achievement for this team. But winning a trophy does not mean that we have conquered the world. We need to continue to perform well and bring more consistency in our performance so that victory continues. 

According to a newspaper, Afridi admitted that he was not expecting Pakistan to reach the finals and win the title. He said that after the loss to India, the manner in which the team is elated is commendable and I am happy that the cricket team has given such happiness to the people.

 He said that but we must continue to perform this continuously after being inspired by this victory.
