श्रीलंका टीम के कोच ग्राहम फोर्ड ने दिया इस्तीफा

                         Sri Lankan cricket coach Graham Ford has resigned from his coach post today. Ford was the coach of the team for the past 15 months. Telling Graham Ford has left his post in the middle of a 45-month contract. He has taken this step only after two weeks of being out in the opening round of the team's Champions Trophy.

Officials gave this information. But it will not be decided which coach will be made at their place. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board said that the second term of the 56-year-old South Africa is over after the decision taken with mutual consent.

 Under the guidance of the 56-year-old Ford, Sri Lanka made a memorable win over Australia in Twenty20 and Test, but this year the team's performance was very poor and for the first time they faced whitewash in the series from Bangladesh and South. 

Sri Lanka could not even reach the semifinals of the Champions Trophy. Sri Lanka Cricket Board President Thilanga Sumathipala said that we would like to thank Ford for his contribution to Sri Lanka Cricket. We are sorry to see them go, but this decision has been taken unanimously. 

Ford has given his resignation before the Zimbabwe tour of Sri Lanka, where the team has to play five one-day matches.
