An old banyan tree in Khyber in Pakistan has been chained for the last 118 years. This tree is located in the Landy Kottayam Army. This tree was arrested in the year 1898. The story of arresting this tree is very interesting. According to a Pakistani newspaper, one day the British officer James Squad was walking in the garden.



 James had drank too much alcohol When he passed by a banyan tree near the place, he thought that the banyan tree was coming towards him. James was nervous to see the big paddock coming towards himself. He immediately ordered soldiers to arrest this tree.



The soldiers also immediately arrested that tree in chains in chains. Since then, this tree is clamped in chains. Chains are hanging on this tree. The tree of I'm under arrest on the tree is also hanging. To show the cruelty of the British rule, chains have not been removed from this banyan tree till date.
